This was a concept design I came up with for a children's book I worked on. I was going for a modern take on 1940's style of illustration.
I thought this up as a concept for a Santa Claus related logo. I wanted it simple and round, with an overload of happy cheerfullness.
A simple, symmetrical and glossy illustration of a very cute creature, the bush baby.
This was a logo concept, I was looking for something very dimensional that makes a basic connection of a shield and a lock.
While trying to think of concepts for some digital illustration peices I remembered the symbol of the Ouroboros, an ancient symbol depicting a serpent or dragon swallowing its own tail and forming a circle.
Here, I tried a couple illustrations using lawn gnomes as a concept.
With the Flying Pig, I was experimenting with a different type of style to create something simple.
I once attempted to draw a "tribal style dragon tattoo" when I was younger and I liked it so I thought it would be a good idea to digitize it as a vector.
